North Catholic’s Tess Myers, one of the WPIAL’s top juniors, added another Division I offer after leading her basketball team to the state finals.

The 5-foot-10 guard announced an offer from Atlantic 10 member St. Joseph’s this week, raising her scholarship total to eight. Myers added three others just in the past month: UNC Wilmington, William & Mary and St. Bonaventure.

Myers averaged a team-best 15.4 points for North Catholic (26-4), which won the WPIAL title for the third consecutive year. She was second on the team in rebounding at 5.5 rpg.

She scored a game-high 20 points in the state Class 4A final March 23 when North Catholic lost to Bethlehem Catholic, 60-49, in Hershey.

Myers previously announced offers from La Salle, Charlotte, Kent State and Niagara.
