Nebraska’s football roster lists 75 players from the Cornhusker State and a number of others from the midwest, but coach Scott Frost’s staff is making a push in Pennsylvania.
Four WPIAL standouts announced offers this week from Nebraska: Aliquippa junior Zuriah Fisher, Baldwin sophomore Dorien Ford, Gateway sophomore Derrick Davis and Westinghouse junior Dayon Hayes.
The Cornhuskers have no Pennsylvania players on its current roster but does have two from Ohio and two from New Jersey. The team went 4-8 overall last season, 3-6 in the Big 10.
