Cameron Guess said he hoped to see an inflow of scholarship offers as he took to the college football showcase camp scene this summer.
He’s off to a strong start: 1 for 1.
Guess, a standout junior punter and kicker at Belle Vernon, pulled in an offer from Kent State after taking part in the Golden Flashes’ camp this weekend.
It is the five-star recruit’s second offer, the other coming from Toledo, another Mid-American Conference program, last September.
Guess is ranked No. 6 in the country as a punter, and No. 38 as a kicker, by Kohl’s Kicking Camps in the Class of 2020. He held the No. 1 punter spot for a time last year.
Awesome first camp of the summer with Kent State. Thanks to @StevenSchrum @CoachZacBarton @TheOC_CoachLew ! Loved everything about it. With that I’m blessed and honored to announce my second offer! #FlashFAST pic.twitter.com/j219Q46e9w
