2011 WPIAL FIELD HOCKEY PLAYOFFS

Three of the four finalists this year have DOMINATED the district field hockey playing field since the sports inception in 1994. Between 2010 champions North Allegheny in AAA, Ellis School in AA and Shady Side Academy, the three programs have won 25 of a possible 31 WPIAL field hockey titles. The other finalist, Penn-Trafford is the new kid on the golden block. Those four teams were Semifinals winners and will battle for the 2011 crown on Tuesday, November 1st at Fox Chapel High School and here on the MSA Sports Network.
