North Allegheny and South Park Duo’s Win 2010 WPIAL Girls Tennis Doubles Titles

One champion was expected, coming into the district doubles postseason as the top-seed. The other dynamic duo surprised the field, winning gold as the 11th-seed. Friday afternoon at Pine-Richland High School, the South Park tandem of Elise Carter and Tracy Gibson cruised to the WPIAL Class AA doubles tennis title. Meanwhile, Cinderella was dressed in North Allegheny black and gold as the team of Kylie Issacs and Mikayla Becich captured gold in the WPIAL Class AAA tournament.

Here are ALL the results from the two days of the 2010 WPIAL Girls Doubles Tennis Championships, including the two consolation matches on Friday afternoon.
