North Allegheny & Sewickley Academy Win WPIAL Girls Team Tennis Titles

Five was the key number as the district girls team tennis tournament concluded on a sun splashed Wednesday afternoon. North Allegheny won one for the thumb as the Tigers captured their fifth consecutive Class 3-A crown with a sweep of section rival Pine-Richland. Meanwhile, there is a new champion in 2-A  after Sewickley Academy won the schools fifth girls team tennis title as the Panthers beat Knoch in the Class 2-A Finals. Here are all the results from the 2017 WPIAL Girls Team Tennis Playoffs.
