The WPIAL Class AAA boys volleyball all-star first, second and third teams were announced between the Class AA and AAA championships games Thursday night at Baldwin High School.
North Allegheny senior outside hitter Canyon Tuman was selected the Most Valuable Player. He helped the Tigers to the No. 1 seed for the playoffs and Thursday's 3-1 victory over Bethel Park to claim the program's 19th WPIAL championship.
By making the WPIAL title game, North Allegheny and Bethel Park automatically qualified for the PIAA tournament, which begins Tuesday. Butler qualified Thursday with its 3-0 consolation-game triumph over Seneca Valley.
