Bethel Park junior Maddie Dziezgowski, who helped the Black Hawks reach the WPIAL girls basketball semifinals, announced her commitment Saturday to St. Bonaventure.
The 5-foot-11 guard/forward averaged 14 points for Bethel Park, which went 22-4 overall with all four losses coming to eventual PIAA Class 6A champion Peters Township. The Black Hawks’ season ended with a loss in the second round of the state playoffs.
Dziezgowski earned first-team all-section honors. She received her St. Bonaventure offer in January.
