The NCAA Division II playoff field has been announced and for the fifth consecutive year, the California Vulcans are in the field. The Vulcans, 9-2 overall, were selected as the fifth seed in Super Region One and will host fourth seeded Elizabeth City State on Saturday at Adamson Stadium, with kickoff set for noon.This Week on the MSA Sports Network – 11/14/2011

Hopewell’s Rushel Shell has a chance to break the state career rushing record in Friday night’s WPIAL Quarterfinals against Franklin Regional.
