Only one conference game highlighted the schedule in Week 2 for most teams. Crossover play dominated the PSAC for weeks 2 and 3, while the PAC squared off with the MAC in cross-state battles with not good results for the local squads. After a busy first Saturday last week, the area high school football action was a bit calmer on the final day of Week Two of the 2010 season. There were only three games in both the WPIAL and the Pittsburgh City League with five of those games played in the afternoon. Over the past five seasons, four different teams have won Pittsburgh City League championships (Brashear won twice). Look for the balance of power to continue this season. It doesn't seem like there is a prohibitive favorite to win the City League this year. Schenley captured the title a year ago.
