Herald spotlight athlete: SSA’s Fuhrer helps golf team to 5-0 start

Jas Fuhrer, a senior at Shady Side Academy, has excelled for the boys golf team for the last four years.

This season, he is averaging a 37.2 score per match as the Indians are off to a 5-0 start. He also is on the basketball team. He hasn’t made a final college decision yet but wants to continue playing golf and major in business.

Here’s a closer look at Fuhrer:

My dad.

What three things have to be in your refrigerator?

Chocolate milk, eggs and grapes.

What’s the closest you’ve ever come to a hole-in-one?

I’ve hit the flag on an approach shot a couple of times.

Who would be your dream date?

Kim Kardashian.

What three people would you like to have dinner with?

Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

What’s your favorite cookout food?

Chicken.

What three words would describe you?

Hard-working, motivated, childish.

Who is your favorite Pittsburgh athlete?

Arnold Palmer.

What would make up your favorite all-time meal?

Just a cheeseburger with an egg on it.

Is there a food you refuse to eat?

Asparagus.

If you could change places with anybody for a day, who would you choose.?
