Jake Wolfe scored 20 points and Montour held off a fourth-quarter charge to defeat North Hills, 68-66, in nonsection boys basketball Tuesday night.

Ama Tening Sow added 19 for the Spartans (4-1). Zach Pollaro led North Hills (2-3) with 27 points and Eric James had 21.

Aquinas Academy 73, Geibel 56 – Jake Guillen led with 16 points, San Duer added 14 and Jonah Burchill had 12 to propel Aquinas Academy (5-1) to a nonsection win. Tommy Kolincik scored 18 points and Mike Miller had 12 for Geibel (0-7).

Avonworth 91, Union 63 – Rowan Carmichael led Avonworth (5-2) with 47 points and Matthew Farrah added 11 in a nonsection win over Union (1-5).

Beaver 76, Hopewell 53 – Brady Mayo led Beaver (4-3, 1-1) with 23 points, Phillip Marino followed with 18, Ty Butler added 13 and Nick Krzeczowski had 10 in a Section 2-4A win. Zach Kovell scored 26 points and Michael Brown had 10 for Hopewell (5-2, 0-2).

Belle Vernon 65, McKeesport 55 – Zion Moore led all scorers with 29 points, Alonzo Wade added 13 and Tommy Davis had 10 for Belle Vernon (3-1) in a nonsection win. Lamont Perkins led McKeesport (1-3) with 21 points. Brian Jones had 11.

Brownsville 63, Waynesburg 50 – Trenton Wible had 19 points to lead three Brownsville players in double figures in a Section 4-3A win. Harlan Davis scored 16 and Jeremy Praster had 10 for the Falcons (4-4, 1-1). Dane Woods (18), Jackson Dean (12) and Alex Eck (10) scored in double figures for Waynesburg (2-5, 0-1).

Burgettstown 67, Carmichaels 43 – James Leuice scored 19 points, Zack Schrockman added 17 and Carson Tkalcevic had 14 for Burgettstown (6-0, 2-0) in a Section 4-2A win. Aydan Adamson led Carmichaels (3-4, 0-1) with 21 points.

Burrell 73, Ligonier Valley 47 – Macky Bennis scored 29 points to lead Burrell (6-0, 2-0) to a Section 3-3A victory. Tucker Bitar had 15 points for the Bucs and Joey Discello scored 14. Michael Wisniewski led Ligonier Valley (2-4, 0-2) with 14 points and Chet Dillaman chipped in 12.

Central Valley 62, Blackhawk 40 – Isaiah Jeter scored 24 points and Mikel Anderson and Cameron DeVincentis added 10 points apiece to lead Central Valley (3-2, 1-0) to a Section 2-4A win. Tyler Heckathorn scored 15 points for Blackhawk (3-4, 1-1).

Chartiers Valley 77, Knoch 61 – Jayden Davis had 25 points and Chartiers Valley (4-3) stormed back from a 10-point halftime deficit to earn a nonsection victory. Jackson Bauman had a game-high 27 points for Knoch (4-1).

Cheswick Christian 52, Plants and Pillars 22 – Sean Louis had 17 points and Joseph Rosio scored 16 to help Cheswick Christian (7-1) secure a win over Plants and Pillars. Grant Rochkind finished with a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Clay-Batelle (WV) 76, Mapletown 34 – Preston Luzader scored 27 points to lead Clay-Batelle to a nonsection win. Braden McIntire led Mapletown (0-5) with nine.

Eden Christian 62, Rochester 60 – Brady Hull led Eden Christian (2-5) with 17 points, Nathan Garrett added 14 and Grayson Reichart had 11 in a nonsection win. Xavier Rigby scored 27 points and Jayvin Hemer had 16 for Rochester (2-3).

Elizabeth Forward 70, Bethel Park 51 – Isaiah Turner led with 16 points, Cy Herchelroath added 12 and Krystian Kennedy had 11 for Elizabeth Forward (5-1) in a nonsection win. Michael Mathias and Nick Brown scored 10 points apiece for Bethel Park (2-4).

Erie 73, North Allegheny 62 – Layveon Gore scored 18 points as Erie rallied from four points down after three quarters to beat North Allegheny (3-5). Anthony Sciote scored 20 and Joey Dopirak added 18 for the Tigers.

Franklin Regional 70, Woodland Hills 44 – Cam Rowell led Franklin Regional (6-1) with 16 points, Colin Masten followed with 14 and Jashua Hudak had 10 in a nonsection win. Scoop Smith scored 13 points and Lamar Williams had 12 for Woodland Hills (3-4).

Fort Cherry 80, Bentworth 46 – Shane Cornali scored 22 points, Derek Errett added 19 and Evan Pond had 11 to lead Fort Cherry (3-1, 1-0) to a Section 4-2A win. Ben Hays led Bentworth (1-5, 0-2) with 24 points.

Greensburg Central Catholic 70, Serra Catholic 55 – Tyree Turner hit for a career-high 33 points and Franco Alvarez added 13 to lead Greensburg Central Catholic (7-1, 2-0) past Section 3-2A rival Serra Catholic (3-4, 0-2). The Centurions have won six in a row. Isiah Petty scored 18, Owen Dumbroski 15 and Pete Burke 14 for Serra.

Hillel Academy 50, Propel Montour 37 – Noam Azagury scored 23 points and Yonah Itskowitz added 21 to help Hillel Academy (1-1) to a nonsection win. John Anderson scored 11 and Jaiden Williams added 10 for Propel Montour (1-6).

Jeannette 55, Leechburg 29 – Xavier Odorisio scored 17 points, Noah Sunder added 16 and Isaiah Mallich finished with 11 to lead Jeannette (6-2, 2-0) to a Section 3-2A win. Jayden Floyd scored 22 for Leechburg (2-5, 0-1).

Mt. Lebanon 58, Penn-Trafford 29 – Nate Girod hit five 3-pointers and finished with 19 points to lead Mt. Lebanon (6-0) to a nonsection win. Brody Barber added 15 and Riley Farabaugh had 10 for the Blue Devils. Tyler Freas led Penn-Trafford (4-4) with eight points.

Neshannock 62, Ellwood City 51 – Dave Kwiat had 19 points and Anthony Bonner scored 14 to lead Neshannock (6-1, 2-0) to a Section 1-3A win. Joe Roth paced Ellwood City (3-5,1-1) with 21 points.

New Castle 63, Hempfield 58 – Damarian Harrison scored 22 points, Ralph Blundo added 21 and Kyell Harris had 11 to lead New Castle (6-1) to a nonsection win. Drew Gordon led Hempfield (2-5) with 23 points and Max Williams had 12.

Peters Township 73, South Fayette 66 – Mickey Vaccarello scored 18 points, Jack Dunbar added 16 and Dylan Donovan had 13 to lead Peters Township (5-2) to a nonsection win. Michael Plasko led South Fayette (3-3) with 26 points and Gavin Orosz had 14.

Plum 79, Freeport 52 – Will Beckner hit eight 3-pointers and finished with 32 points to lead Plum (3-4) to a nonsection victory. Owen Proskin added 20 for the Mustangs. Gavin Glista scored 15 and Brady Sullivan had 12 for Freeport (2-5).

Ringgold 47, Greensburg Salem 46 – Szyair Dungee hit the game-winning shot with eight seconds left to lead Ringgold (2-4) to a nonsection win over Greensburg Salem (1-6). Daryl Tolliver scored 12 and Braylen Lomax added 10 for the Rams. Braedon Leatherman scored 14 and Ryan Burkart and AJ Tarpley each had 10 for the Golden Lions.

Seneca Valley 54, Baldwin 43 – Owen Congdon led Seneca Valley (3-4) with 17 points, Kai West added 15 and Andrew Omasits had 10 in a nonsection win. Nathan Richards scored nine points for Baldwin (4-2).

Seton LaSalle 49, South Park 43 – Hayden Merchant had 12 points and Keenu Brooks scored 11 to help Seton LaSalle (5-1, 2-0) edge South Park (4-2, 0-1) in Section 2-3A. Danny Batista paced the Eagles with 18 points.

Bishop McCort 2, Penn-Trafford 1 – Nikita Kolomejtsev scored and Hleb Sublach made 37 saves to lead Bishop McCort (4-6-1) to a shootout win in Class 2A. Aiden Drotos scored for Penn-Trafford (4-4-2).

Morgantown 10, Trinity 0 – Geno Valenti and Jacob Hollander each had two goals and two assists while Brayden Hellen collected a goal and four assists for Morgantown (7-4) in a Varsity D2 win over Trinity (1-7). Noah Fields had an 18-save shutout, Nick Kourtsis recorded two goals and an assist and Brayden Hellen added a goal and three assists.

North Catholic 7, West Allegheny 0 – Carmen D’Ambrosio had a hat trick and Wyatt Cleveland made 26 saves to record the shutout for North Catholic (8-3-1) in a Class A win over West Allegheny (2-11). Emilio Laracuente had two goals and two assists and Jack Anderson added a goal and an assist.

Peters Township 6, Pine-Richland 2 – Camden Martin scored four goals and had an assist to propel Peters Township (7-4-1) to a Class 3A win. Jeremy Casper and Zachary Howard scored for Pine-Richland (7-3).
