The South Park boys soccer team hadn’t lost a section game since Sept. 28, 2015.

Keystone Oaks put an end to the Eagles’ 29-game section unbeaten streak Tuesday night.

Rutger Randall scored the lone goal to help the Golden Eagles earn a 1-0 victory over No. 4 South Park in a Section 1-2A game.

Butler 4, Shaler 1 — Tate Mohney had two goals and an assist as Butler (1-0, 1-0) won in Section 1-4A.

North Allegheny 1, Allderice 0 — John Ross scored for No. 1 North Allegheny (2-0, 1-0) in a Section 1-4A victory.

Seneca Valley 3, Central Catholic 2 — Ben Francis scored twice as No. 4 Seneca Valley (3-0, 1-0) won in Section 1-4A.

Connellsville 5, Hempfield 0 — Lucas Hammerle and Luke Peperlak each scored twice as No. 5-ranked Connellsville (3-0, 1-0) won in Section 3-4A.

Latrobe 2, Plum 1 — Marshall Kalning’s penalty kick with 10 minutes left lifted Latrobe (1-0, 1-0) to a win in Section 3-4A. Latrobe also scored on Plum’s own goal to tie the game at one.

Penn-Trafford 7, Woodland Hills 0 — Noah Schlessinger scored three times to lead Penn-Trafford (1-1, 1-0) to a 3-4A win.

Norwin 10, Penn Hills 1 — Carter Breen had three goals, and Zach Ullum added two goals, as Norwin (2-1, 1-0) rolled to a Section 3-4A victory.

South Fayette 6, McKeesport 0 — Chad Eldridge netted a hat trick for No. 3 South Fayette (2-0, 1-0) in a Section 4-3A triumph.

Greensburg Salem 5, Albert Gallatin 1 — Ethan Turnbull scored three times, and Josh Klueber and Wyatt Ramer added goals as Greensburg Salem (2-0, 1-0) opened Section 3-3A play with a victory over Albert Gallatin (1-2, 0-1).

Franklin Regional 7, Gateway 0 — Austin Kranick and Joseph Bonfiglio each scored twice as Franklin Regional (2-0, 1-0) won its Section 4-3A opener.

Freeport 6, Derry 1 — Hunter Hardin scored three goals to lift Freeport (2-0, 1-0) to a Section 2-2A win.

Charleroi 9, Southmoreland 1 — Cullen Wiypovich had five goals to lift Charleroi (2-0, 1-0) to a Section 3-2A win over Southmoreland (0-2, 0-1).

Waynesburg 7, Yough 1 — Gavin Benson scored three times to help Waynesburg (3-0, 1-0) earn a Section 3-2A win over Yough (0-1, 0-1).

Trinity Christian 10, Jeannette 0 — Ben Blackburn had four goals to lead Trinity Christian (2-0, 1-0) to a Section 2-A victory over Jeannette (0-1, 0-1).

Eden Christian 2, Vincentian Academy 1 — Mike Merrick scored twice to guide Eden Christian (3-0, 1-0) to a Section 3-A win.

Bentworth 7, California 1 — Brian Hustava scored four times, and Leyton Hustava had three goals as Bentworth (1-2, 1-0) won in Section 4-A.

West Allegheny 4, Quaker Valley 2 — Connor Blazer scored twice to help Class 3A No. 1 West Allegheny (3-0) earn a nonsection win over Class 2A No. 1 Quaker Valley (0-3).

Springdale 1, Carlynton 0 — In two games, Springdale has two goals — and two wins.

Mike Mitchell scored midway through the first half, and Class A No. 5 Springdale made it stand up for a 1-0 victory over Carlynton in a Section 3-A game Tuesday.

Mike Zolnierczyk stopped eight shots for the Dynamos (2-0, 1-0) to register his second straight shutout, both by a 1-0 score.

Highlands 3, North Hills 1— Gabe Norris scored a pair of goals, including a second-half game winner as Highlands (1-2, 1-0) rolled past North Hills (0-1, 0-1) to open up Section 1-3A play. Goalkeeper Gabe Anthony tallied five saves for the Rams.

Deer Lakes 10, Valley 0 — The Lancers (3-0, 1-0) rolled to a Section 2-AA victory over Valley (0-1, 0-1), scoring nine goals in the first half. Colton Spence led the offensive attack with a hat trick, while Ryan Butler and Devin Murray added two goals apiece. AJ Dorman, Matt Campos and Carson McCoy also scored.

Mars 5, Kiski Area 0 — Matt Olsen scored two goals to lead Mars over Kiski Area in Section 1-AAA play. Austin Rocke, Dane Beller and Easton Carter added goals for Mars (1-0, 1-0). Nicholas Smith recorded 18 saves for Kiski Area (0-1, 0-1).

Girls soccer

Serra Catholic 9, Jeannette 3 — Madison Carr scored six times to lead Serra Catholic (1-1, 1-0) to a Section 1-A win over Jeannette (0-2, 0-1). Haily Rundle had three goals for the Jayhawks.

Ligonier Valley 10, Northern Cambria 0 — Ligonier Valley’s Mia Lynn had three goals and moved into fifth in program history with 51 career goals as the Rams (1-0, 1-0) won their District 6 Heritage Conference opener.

Apollo-Ridge 5, Riverview 0— Kat Yurjevich led the Vikings with two goals and two assists as Apollo-Ridge opened the regular season with a win over nonsection rival Riverview (0-1). Haley Usko, Emily Bonelli and Adeline Baustert all added a goals and goalkeeper Madison Galinac had five saves for Apollo-Ridge (1-0).

Shaler 4, Freeport 1 — A Sidney Shemanski goal with 20 minutes to go in the first half wasn’t enough as Freeport dropped a nonsection match to Shaler (1-0). Emma Check had an assist and Maddie Wagner made eight saves in the loss for Freeport (0-1).

Girls volleyball

Burrell 3, East Allegheny 0 — Hannah Pastor recorded 11 aces and two blocks as Burrell cruised to a Section 6-AA win over East Allegheny (0-1, 0-1). Sara Novak added six kills and six assists for Burrell (1-0, 1-0).

Leechburg 3, Eden Christian 0 — Gracie Reinke tallied nine kills and four aces as Leechburg (1-0, 1-0) opened with a Section 4-A win. Brenna Callahan added eight kills, and Maddie Ancosky added three kills and eight aces.

Knoch 3, Blackhawk 0— Kennedy Christy and Hannah Rowe both tallied 14 kills apiece and Skylar Burkett added 16 service points as WPIAL Class 3A No. 1 ranked Knoch (1-0, 1-0) rolled past Section 4-3A foe Blackhawk (0-1, 0-1).

Derry 3, Deer Lakes 1 — Mia Jarnot recorded 15 service points, but Deer Lakes fell to Derry (1-0, 1-0) in Section 5-AA play. Desiree Herman added 10 kills and Renee Robson recorded nine assists for Deer Lakes (0-1, 0-1).
