Semi-finals week is here and man oh man a lot of chalk out there, no seeds any worse than a five remaining in any of the four classifications. The NCAA Division II playoff field has been announced and for the fifth consecutive year, the California Vulcans are in the field. The Vulcans, 9-2 overall, were selected as the fifth seed in Super Region One and will host fourth seeded Elizabeth City State on Saturday at Adamson Stadium, with kickoff set for noon.This Week on the MSA Sports Network – 11/14/2011

The PSAC title was determined, the race in the Northeast Conference is winding down and an upset of the number one team in Division I FCS play highlighted the weekend of college football around the area. Mars proved their girls soccer team is out of this world Friday when they captured the schools first ever state title as the Planets blanked the previously undefeated Villa Jospeh Marie Jems 1-0 at Hersheypark Stadium. The PSAC title is up for grabs with the State Title Game and spots in the Division II playoff field as well as the regular season winds down. Duquesne continues it's pursuit of the NEC title and a bid to the FCS playoffs and it's Rivalry Week in the PAC.
