Fresh into the second half of the regular season, new life seemed to be breathed into several players as their performances rose just as the mercury outside was on the rise from the last two weeks. Welcome to Week 6 of the high school football season. Chick’s Picks fields numerous invitations each month requesting that she make a celebrity guest appearance at various events, from pep rallies to town festivals.
