Don’t look for the trend to stop this season.Ford City and Shady Side Academy are pegged by many coaches as the teams to beat in the Allegheny Conference. South Fayette enjoyed a breakout season in 2009. They went undefeated in the regular season and captured the Class AA Century Conference championship. However their season came to a bitter end in a wild shootout loss to Aliquippa in the WPIAL Quarterfinals.
