Four WPIAL boys golfers finished 1-2-3 and 4 after the final round of the 2011 PIAA Individual Golf Championships at Heritage Hills Golf Club on Tuesday, but it was Garrett Browning of West Allegheny who was the golden boy...again.Baldwin Freshman Wins 2011 WPIAL Boys Golf Championship

In a major surprise at the WPIAL Division I Boys Golf Championships, a freshman claimed the top spot. Zack Taylor of Baldwin was the only player to shoot under par, firing a one-under 71, beating Evan Ruhling of Penn Hills by one shot at Treesdale Golf and Country Club in Gibsonia.WPIAL Football Plays of the Week – 10/04/2011

Shenango senior Brad Thornton claimed his first individual championship, firing a one-over par 73 to win the WPIAL Boys Division II Golf Championships at the New Castle Country Club on Monday afternoon.
