North Allegheny continued its domination in district girls gymanstics Saturday at Moon High School. The Tigers captured a third consecutive WPIAL gymnastics championship and their sixth crown in the last eight years. In 30 years of team titles in the WPIAL, North Allegheny has now won gold 19 times. When it comes to records, maybe its time to stop thinking about Rushel Shell in a WPIAL sense. Maybe its time to look at the entire state. Shell, Hopewells wonderful junior running back, ran for 193 yards against West Allegheny in a 34-31 overtime win last night. That gave him 6,358 yards for his career.
