After a busy first Saturday last week, the area high school football action was a bit calmer on the final day of Week Two of the 2010 season. There were only three games in both the WPIAL and the Pittsburgh City League with five of those games played in the afternoon. CTK 2010 – 2009 WPIAL Class A Football Flashback

The beat continued in Class A last year as powers Clairton and Rochester met at Heinz Field for the third time in the last six years. After a hectic finish decided on a missed two-point conversion, the Bears edged the Rams 14-13 and celebrated back-to-back WPIAL crowns and their third district title in the past four year.
