For eight years they played the role of brides-maids as a close-but-no-cigar top five finisher. But now for the second straight year, Quaker Valley plays second fiddle to nobody after the Quakers earned a second consecutive MSA Sports Cup Class AA crown.Quaker Valley earned 525 points, the second most of any WPIAL school behind North Allegheny, giving them a comfortable 195 victory over runner-up and five-time champion Shady Side Academy.
