There is no truth to the rumor that the section formally known as the Big Seven Conference in Class AAA was considering a name change to the Big One Conference. Instead, they will change to reflect the number of TOTAL teams in the conference to the Big Eight.2010 WPIAL Schedules: Girls Soccer

Seneca Valley captured a second WPIAL girls soccer title in three years while Springdale finally knocked South Park off of its three year stay atop the WPIAL Class AA world. The Raiders and Dynamos were the last of the duo champions in girls soccer as expansion has grown the sport to three classifications this fall.
