After a busy first Saturday last week, the area high school football action was a bit calmer on the final day of Week Two of the 2010 season. There were only three games in both the WPIAL and the Pittsburgh City League with five of those games played in the afternoon. One of the busiest Saturday's of the WPIAL football season happened to be on the opening weekend of this 2010 campaign. Allegheny Conference teams won't have to "get real" so fast this season. Over the past two seasons, the Allegheny has consisted of 10 teams, which meant all teams started playing conference games the first night of the season. There were no non-conference games. Everything was real from the get-go.
