District College Football Recap for Saturday, November 20th with update on Robert Morris playoff

The 20 team field for the NCAA Division I FCS playoffs was announced this morning. Robert Morris(8-2), the Northeast Conference champion, will travel to North Dakota State(7-4) on Saturday. The Bison finished third in the Missouri Valley Conference. The winner travels to the 4th overall seed Montana State(9-2) in the second round Saturday, December 4th.Scholastic Notebook – 11/19/2010

Running for 4,000 career yards isn't as rare as it used to be. Forty-seven players have done it in WPIAL history, and 40 of them have reached the mark since 1990. A great weekend of college football around the area. This week saw a long division winning streak come to an end as well as the third ranked team in Divsion II go down to defeat. Another national power was taken to overtime in Division III and history was made in New Wilmington with the first ever game under the lights.
