District College Football Recap for Saturday, November 20th with update on Robert Morris playoff

The 20 team field for the NCAA Division I FCS playoffs was announced this morning. Robert Morris(8-2), the Northeast Conference champion, will travel to North Dakota State(7-4) on Saturday. The Bison finished third in the Missouri Valley Conference. The winner travels to the 4th overall seed Montana State(9-2) in the second round Saturday, December 4th.

Running for 4,000 career yards isn't as rare as it used to be. Forty-seven players have done it in WPIAL history, and 40 of them have reached the mark since 1990. But when North Allegheny's Alex Papson reached 4,000 yards last week, it was a rare feat, at least when you consider the competition.

District College Football Recap for Saturday, November 13th

A first time champion was crowned in the PSAC and three more teams from that conference await the NCAA Division II Selection Show Sunday afternoon to see if they are post-season bound. A mild upset highlights the final week in the NEC, and Rivarly Week in the PAC brings two overtime games and two more down to the wire to wind up the regular season.
