District College Football Recap from Saturday, October 16th

A couple of upsets highlight the week's slate of college football from around the region during Separation Week. A three-way tie for second place in the PSAC-West was broken with a thrilling finish in Erie County. A down to wire finish in the PAC as well between two old rivals and defense ruled the day in several other contests.

2010 Season Ends for Washington Wild Things With Another Loss

Brandon Howard's two-run, eighth-inning double off Eryk McConnell was the difference tonight as the Washington Wild Things fell to the Traverse City Beach Bums 4-3 in their season finale. For the first time all series, the teams experienced good weather, having battled wind and rain in the previous two games at Wuerfel Park.
