The Herald Spotlight Athlete: Catherine Jewart, Shady Side Academy

Catherine Jewart, a senior on the Shady Side Academy basketball team, has been leading the Indians in scoring, rebounding, steals and assists all season. She scored 21 points to lead SSA to a win over Knoch in the opening round of the Peter Sauer Holiday Tournament. She is also on the golf team at SSA. She is undecided on a college but wants to major in biology.

I usually get up on my own.

My dad’s pancakes, bacon and my dad’s milkshakes.

Fish.

“Gossip Girl.”

What junk food do you have a weakness for?

Chocolate.
