David Bowie and Black Sabbath, among others, have sung about it, autumn is all about it, and over the years, the human body goes through a lot of it.

Changes.

That is what the power rankings had to go through following losses last week by both the No. 1 and No. 2 teams.

Central Catholic defeating North Allegheny in a Class 6A showdown and Upper St. Clair shutting down Peters Township in a Class 5A Allegheny Six Conference opener has given a major facelift to the top of the Trib 10 this week.

North Allegheny’s stay at No. 1 lasted one week following the loss of Aliquippa in Week 4.

Pine-Richland becomes the third top power-ranked team in as many weeks.

Could more changes loom in Week 6?

No. 2 USC visits No. 9 South Fayette in a battle of unbeaten teams while the No. 1 Rams have a tough assignment as they host Penn Hills for the top spot in the Class 5A Northeast Conference.

Here are the latest Trib 10 power rankings. Teams are listed with overall record and last week’s ranking. These rankings have zero classification boundaries.
