Trib HSSN Pennsylvania girls basketball rankings for Feb. 6, 2024

There was some actual movement this week in the Trib HSSN girls basketball state rankings, at least in half of the classifications.

Four teams dropped out with losses, including a pair of teams in Class 4A.

Gone from last week’s Top 5 are Lincoln Park, North Catholic, Scranton Prep and Marian Catholic.

Entering the state ranking this week are York Suburban, Wyomissing, Punxsutawney and Aliquippa.

The six top-ranked teams remained the same from last week with Cardinal O’Hara in 6A, Oakland Catholic in 5A, Delone Catholic in 4A, Lancaster Catholic in 3A, Kennedy Catholic in 2A and Union in A still on top.

Here is the latest PIAA Top 5 in each of the six classifications for 2023-24. The team’s district is the number in parenthesis after their record, which is followed by their ranking last week.
