Upper St. Clair’s Tyler Robbins commits to Miami (Ohio)

Upper St. Clair’s Tyler Robbins, a 6-foot-10 forward who won a WPIAL basketball title last winter, committed Tuesday to Miami (Ohio).
The rising senior announced his college decision on social media.
Robbins also listed offers from Duquesne, Robert Morris, Harvard, Northeastern, Kent State, Pepperdine, Manhattan, St. Francis (Pa.), Loyola (Md.) and IU Indianapolis.
He averaged a double-double last season with 13.6 points and 11.2 rebounds per game, while also adding 5.1 blocks. Upper St. Clair went 22-6, won the WPIAL Class 6A title and reached the state quarterfinals.
Miami (Ohio), led by second-year coach Travis Steele, competes in the Mid-American Conference. The Redhawks went 15-17 overall last season, 9-9 in the MAC.
The Miami roster already includes one former WPIAL player, Fox Chapel graduate Eli Yofan.
